Ep 0 Introduction

‘Living with Ovarian Cancer’ is a Podcast full of inspiring stories told by Women or their loved ones, who themselves have lived with, or are still living with Ovarian Cancer.

Each Woman’s story is a gift, unique and is told from the heart in their own words.

I am your host, Diane Evans-Wood. In this episode I will be setting the scene and telling you about what led me to start this Podcast and what you can expect to hear. In each episode I will be having a conversation with a woman who currently has or has had ovarian cancer. In some episodes I will be talking to the loved ones of a woman who has or has had Ovarian Cancer, and occasionally other guests speaking on how to live well with this disease.

‘Living with Ovarian Cancer’ could not have existed without the support and significant, ongoing help of some very generous and kind people who I want to acknowledge.

Firstly, my immense gratitude to all the women who have come forward to tell their story about what it’s like to live with Ovarian Cancer. Without them I could not have started this Podcast and I will be forever grateful to them for sharing so openly and honestly.

A huge thank you and gratitude to Ruthie and Gary Colcombe who have done so much to help get this Podcast off the ground and who continue to assist with the editing and publishing of each episode. Without them, I could not have navigated my way through the production of a new Podcast.
