A Prayer to Remember the Real Reason for the Season

The Christmas season can easily become crowded with distractions, expectations, and material pressures that pull our focus away from Christ. Yet Scripture reminds us that Christmas is not about gifts or gatherings—it is about the Savior who came to rescue us. Luke 2:11–14 proclaims the good news that Jesus, the Messiah, was born in humility to bring peace and salvation to the world. When we pause to remember the sacrifice God made by sending His Son, our hearts are re-centered on the true meaning of Christmas.
