John Aloisi is a former professional football (Soccer) player and now is a professional coach. John had an incredible career as a player with 459 appearances and over 120 goals. He is remembered for scoring the final penalty to get Australia to the 2006 World Cup but also as the only Australian to play in the English Premier League, Italian Seria A and the Spanish La Liga. John has coached Melbourne Heart and Brisbane Roar in the A-League and has an outstanding future in coaching. In this interview we talk about Johns early days growing up in Adelaide, the AIS, going to Europe at 16, meditation, that penalty, the World Cup and coaching.
