Sl: Matejeve oči so sijale, ko se je sprehajal ob Blejskem jezeru.
En: Matej's eyes were shining as he strolled by Blejsko Lake.

Sl: Veter je prinašal vonj po svežem snegu in cingljanje zvončkov s cerkve na otoku.
En: The wind carried the scent of fresh snow and the jingling of bells from the church on the island.

Sl: Vse je bilo pripravljeno za Prešernov dan, praznik kulture in umetnosti.
En: Everything was ready for Prešeren's Day, a celebration of culture and art.

Sl: Kljub prazničnemu vzdušju je Mateja nekaj skrbelo.
