21. Most Important Marketing Tool for Speakers

The question that is submitted most often for the Paid to Speak Podcast is: What is the most important marketing tool for speakers?

The answer is easy: A great presentation is your best marketing tool. As I like to say, "Nothing gets a good speaker booked more quickly than a decision-maker seeing a good speaker speak."

So, the more time you put in "on your feet" as a speaker in front of live audiences, the better.

Additionally, the sooner you can start recording videos of your presentations in front of live audiences, the better. Just remember, a bad video is worse than no video (listen to this short episode to find out exactly what I mean).
