Christian Hall - From Layoff to Painting Business

Chris shares how he launched his West Michigan painting business after a layoff, leveraging a background in property management and sales to quickly find work.

He started by cold calling, walking into 20 to 30 apartment communities with prepared one-sheet repaint estimates - then later shifted to higher-value residential work and learned to estimate and sell on the spot with a process tailored to homeowner personalities.

This was a great episode, Mark and Christian get into marketing, discussing canvassing, BNI, google, facebook, and paint rep relationships.
