Episode 6: Palestine Liberation & Fighting Police Brutality In The Bronx with Des from Rebellious NY

We start today's episode by talking about the horrific violence in Gaza and discuss the importance of intersectionality between colonized peoples in liberation struggles. We then move on to talking about two more instances of NYPD brutality, the weaponization of social media against activists. Leading into our interview with Des, from Rebellious NY (@rebellious_NY on Instagram) we talk about the lack of focus on stories in the Bronx, and shed light on a few stories coming out of the borough.

Des is one of the co-founders of Rebellious NY, who is constantly outside organizing against police brutality and building community in the Bronx. He has been fighting for justice for Mikey Rosado, who was unjustly killed by undercover officers from NYPD's 46th precinct in 2021.
