Izzy Asper Jazz Returns

How do you celebrate over 60 years of Jazz history? The answer is one of the most anticipated concerts of the Izzy Asper Jazz Performance season!

Charlene Diehl, music producer for the Izzy Asper Jazz Performances returns to the podcast to talk about the upcoming African Rhythms Alumni Ensemble concerts happening at the Rady on November 29 & 30. Host Chris Allinotte and Charlene talk about the group's origins playing with legendary jazz pianist Randy Weston, and how they are bringing that spirit and, yes, African Rhythms to the Berney Theatre stage.

Later, Tomer Levy returns to talk holiday programming at the Rady, including not one, not two, but FOUR Hanukkah events.

Lindsey G and Chris get together in the gym for fitness corner and discuss what's coming up in Winter Fitness programming, while Chris tries not to fall off a giant exercise ball. (Which you can totally tell in this audio format...)
