Sl: Pomladni vetrič je nežno zapihal nad Ljubljanski grad, kjer se je trlo turistov, a nekje na vrhu, blizu kamnitega parape ta, so stali trije stari prijatelji.
En: The spring breeze gently blew over Ljubljanski grad, where tourists were thronging, but somewhere at the top, near the stone parapet, stood three old friends.

Sl: Nejc, ki je okoli ramen tesno ovil svoj plašč, je z rahlo anksioznostjo opazoval mesto spodaj.
En: Nejc, who had tightly wrapped his coat around his shoulders, was observing the city below with slight anxiety.

Sl: Prvič po dolgih letih je bil tukaj z Ireno in Matejo.
En: For the first time in many years, he was here with Irena and Mateja.

Sl: Irena je imela iskreče oči, napolnjene z zgodbami iz daljnih krajev.
En: Irena had sparkling eyes, filled with stories from distant places.

Sl: Mateja je stala tiho ob strani, a njena prisotnost je bila topla kot mehka odeja.
En: Mateja stood quietly to the side, but her presence was warm like a soft blanket.

Sl: Zato je zbral pogum in povabil prijatelja, da se fatvso povzpnejo na sam vrh razglednega stolpa, kjer se je odprl razgled, ki jemlje sapo.
En: So he gathered his courage and invited his friends to climb to the very top of the observation tower, where a breathtaking view opened up.

Sl: Spominjal se je, kako so nekoč tukaj presedeli cele ure, sanjarili in se smejali.
En: He recalled how they used to sit here for hours, dreaming and laughing.

Sl: "Moram vam nekaj priznati," je Nejc končno rekel, glas se mu je nekoliko tresel.

En: "I'm afraid we've changed too much."

Sl: To je naravno," je rekla in položila roko na njegovo ramo.

Sl: Mateja je prikimala in dodala: "Najina domovina se spreminja vsako pomlad, pa se pravljica o Ljubljani nikdar ne konča.

Sl: "Trije so dolgo sedeli na stari kamniti klopi in med njimi je stekla iskrena debata o času, ki mineva.

Sl: Pripovedovali so si zgode in prigode, smejali so se ob starih šalah.
En: They shared stories and adventures, laughing at old jokes.
