E36 - Become the Leading Lady in Your Life with Guest Kathy Kelly

In this episode I talk with one of my students of the Red Carpet Express, Kathy Kelly. She shares her journey of personal growth and self development, how she overcame the loss of her mother at a very young age, and created a life she loves with a beautiful vision that began with a children's book. This book helps teach children and their parents mindfulness and that it can be fun and easy!

Author, entrepreneur and an eternal optimist, Kathy Kelley is a mother of 2 boys, Hunter Evan (23) and Easton Presley (6) - who fuelled her drive for her first children's book- One, Two, Three, Meditate With Me and so much more.

Kathy was not always optimistic about life. At the young age of 23, her whole life shifted and she found herself heartbroken and angry as she lost her beloved Mother Marianne to cancer, around the same time, she left Hunter's father and started working with her dad who was estranged for most of her life. Although, there was so much to be grateful for, Kathy fell victim to her own life because she was never taught how to emotionally regulate or use her mental facilities. She was always waiting for everyone and everything outside of her to change in order for her to obtain happiness!

Battling depression for years, she came to a breaking point. She couldn't deny her feelings any longer and was tired of depending on outside sources for her happiness. Kathy finally gave herself permission to be happy!That was about 14 years ago, she's been obsessed with growth, mindfulness and trusting the process ever since. She turned her pain into passion with the help of books, mentors, energy work etc...Just simply opened her mind to guidance and her heart to love.

Now, Kathy is committed to creating tools and resources to make mindfulness fun and easy! To give others, especially children the ability to emotionally regulate, build confidence and self-worth, so they too can fall in love with life no matter what opportunities to grow come their way.
