Hope Behind the Walls: Death Row, Advocacy, and Truth

Tune into The Prison Show, a legendary live radio program based in Houston, Texas, that has served as a vital communication lifeline between incarcerated individuals and their families for 46 years.

The Prison Show airs every Friday night from 9 to 11 PM Central Time on KPFT 90.1 FM Houston.

The program is also streamed on Facebook Live, and then uploaded onto YouTube, and various podcast platforms including Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Incarcerated individuals in 48 states can access the content for free through the Edovo app on prison tablets.

The Prison Show is currently produced by David Collingsworth, hosted by Dani Allen, and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers committed to giving a voice to those impacted by incarceration.

· Dr. Terri LeClercq – Retired English Professor, Queen of The Prison Show Book Club, and author of “Prison Grievances: When to Write, How to Write,” as well as at least 4 other books

· Maurice Chammah - Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, The Marshall Project staff writer, and a leading authority on America's death penalty system. He is the host of “The Last 12 Weeks,” a compelling five-part narrative podcast released in June 2026 by Serial Productions and The New York Times

· Josh Burns - criminal justice advocate, pilot instructor, and co-host of the Unshaken Truth podcast

· Linda Snyder and Dani Allen - The Death Row Angels are on The Prison Show every other Friday shouting out updates to those on Texas Death Row. The Angels visit and mail updated information and are at the Huntsville Unit every execution to protest. https://hpjc.org/tdra/
