We explain why the surviving roommates' hours-long delay before calling 911 doesn't prove what people think it does, what their private writings actually reveal, the theory that they were spared because they were involved, and why a judge dismissed the internet's alternate suspects as rank speculation.

Kohberger's genetic material on the knife sheath left in a victim's bed wasn't a faint trace, the lab says, it was hundreds of times more material than a typical case produces, a detail that undercuts the planting theory more than anything else in this case.
