Since starting the violin at the age of 4, Bill Oakley has been tirelessly involved in music and various parts of the music business his whole life: Soloing with local symphonies, starting a mobile Dj business, studying classical music in the Alps, performing around country as a house/techno DJ, or running an underground rave production company and Dj artist mgmt/booking company. Bill hung up his various instruments, musician hat, successful businesses, and his degree to take advantage of his largest opportunity; to work at one of the leading audio manufactures in the world. During his now 22 years there, Bill has designed products used by musicians and engineers everywhere, managed global Sales & Marketing, and traveled the world over, building relationships with fellow artists, engineers, and industry folk. Nomad and Bill first crossed paths back during Bill’s brief 3+ year stint as Industry & Artist Relations Manager in Burbank, CA. Bill has had a unique CAREER of wearing many hats in this industry.
