"Its Like TAXI DRIVER" - Currer Ball | S01 E48 | The Sin Bin Pod

This week comedian Currer Ball joins The SinBin Pod with a first-date disaster that proves free cinema tickets can come at a very high price. On a first date, Currer decides to impress her with tickets to what he believes is a quirky romantic comedy. Unfortunately, his brief glance at the synopsis leaves out several extremely important details.

What begins as a promising drink and a trip to a premium cinema quickly descends into one of the most uncomfortable first dates imaginable. Trapped in an almost empty screening, Currer finds himself laughing at precisely the wrong moment, desperately avoiding eye contact and slowly realising that the film is very different from the light-hearted romance he was expecting.

Despite an apologetic drink afterwards, she unsurprisingly disappears from his life forever.The group debates whether Currer was an innocent victim of misleading film marketing or whether taking someone to the cinema on a first date was the real offence.

Meanwhile, Adam tries to leave, Nicole becomes competitive with the scoring, and the final Sinner or Winner of the series features a frozen fish hidden inside a cinema and a Tenerife prank that nearly convinces an entire group of friends they have accidentally killed someone.
