Highway 20: Where the footprints disappear in the snow.

Highway 20: Where the footprints disappear in the snow.

On the morning of December 24, 1978, Kay Turner went out for a run in Camp Sherman, Oregon, and never returned. Two days later, her footprints in the snow, along with larger footprints and drag marks, were abandoned by the trackers. Why did the search for such a crucial lead stop?

In this episode, we examine the disappearance of Kay Turner, a 35-year-old woman who vanished on Oregon's Highway 20, a corridor where several women disappeared over the years. Discover the pattern of behavior that the investigation took decades to recognize and how a man who knew those roads better than anyone could be at the center of it all.
