Sl: V Bledski kavarni, kjer poletni sončni žarki nežno padajo skozi velika okna, se začne običajen dan.
En: In the Bled café, where the summer sunrays gently fall through the large windows, an ordinary day begins.

Sl: Anja, mlada in vedoželjna natakarica, pripravlja mize.
En: Anja, a young and curious waitress, prepares the tables.

Sl: Kava diši vsepovsod.
En: The aroma of coffee wafts everywhere.

Sl: Leseni stoli so postavljeni, da gledajo na blejsko jezero, ki se lesketa v jutranji svetlobi.
En: Wooden chairs are placed to face Lake Bled, which glistens in the morning light.

Sl: Kljub rutini dneva, Anja je vedno polna pričakovanj, kaj bo dan prinesel.
En: Despite the day's routine, Anja is always full of anticipation about what the day will bring.

Sl: Prav v tistem trenutku vstopi Tomaž, tihi redni obiskovalec.
En: Just at that moment, Tomaž, a quiet regular customer, enters.

Sl: Vsak dan naroči isti kapučino in vedno prinese s sabo knjigo.
En: Every day he orders the same cappuccino and always brings a book with him.

Sl: Včasih prebere le nekaj strani, drugič zadrži pogled le na naslovnici, kot da razmišlja o nečem globokem.
En: Sometimes he reads just a few pages, other times he lingers his gaze on the cover, as if pondering something deep.

Sl: Anjo pritegne misel na povezavo med Tomažem in pismom.
En: The thought of a connection between Tomaž and the letter intrigues Anja.

Sl: V naslednjih dneh opazuje Tomaža natančneje.
En: In the following days, she observes Tomaž more closely.

Sl: Opazi, kako Tomaž večkrat pogleduje proti mizi, kjer je našla pismo, a nikoli ne povpraša o njem.
En: She notices how Tomaž often glances at the table where she found the letter, but he never inquires about it.

Sl: Tomaž na kratko zamrzne, nato nasmehne.
En: Tomaž briefly freezes, then smiles.

Sl: »Ali ga še imate?
En: "Do you still have it?"

Sl: »Tu,« reče in mu ga preda.
En: "Here," she says and hands it to him.

Sl: »Kaj pomeni to pismo?
En: "What does this letter mean?"

Sl: «Tomaž ga sprejme, pogleduje na besede, in kljub začetni zadržanosti, začne počasi pripovedovati.
En: Tomaž accepts it, glances at the words, and despite initial reluctance, begins to speak slowly.

Sl: »To je pismo, ki sem ga napisal že davno.
En: "This is a letter I wrote long ago.

Sl: Prijatelju, ki ga nisem videl že leta.
En: To a friend I haven't seen in years.

Sl: Nisva se poslovila.
En: We never said goodbye.

Sl: Vem, to je bilo narobe,« prizna.
En: I know, that was wrong," he admits.

Sl: Anja ga posluša z razumevanjem.
En: Anja listens with understanding.

Sl: »Mogoče je čas, da znova vzpostavite stik,« predlaga.
En: "Maybe it's time to reconnect," she suggests.

Sl: Tomaž se zdi ganjen njenim besedam in dejstvom, da ga Anja ne obsoja.
En: Tomaž seems touched by her words and the fact that Anja does not judge him.

Sl: Z njenim spodbujanjem pokliče starega prijatelja, s katerim se potem srečata ravno tam pri jezeru.
En: With her encouragement, he calls the old friend, with whom he then meets right there by the lake.

Sl: Sčasoma postaneta Anja in Tomaž prijatelja.
En: Over time, Anja and Tomaž become friends.

Sl: Tomaž najde mir v tem, da lahko deli svojo zgodbo, Anja pa pridobi prijateljstvo, ki ji pomeni veliko več kot zgolj razrešena uganka.
En: Tomaž finds peace in being able to share his story, and Anja gains a friendship that means much more to her than just a solved mystery.

Sl: Spomni se, da je ključno poslušati z empatijo in potrpežljivostjo.
En: She remembers that it is crucial to listen with empathy and patience.

Sl: Šepetajoči veter nad jezerom ju vselej spomni na zgodbo, ki bi brez tistega starega pisma morda nikoli ne bila razkrita.
