Cam Wurf been referred to as one of the world's greatest endurance athletes. He has spent more than half of his life in elite sport across three sports - rowing, triathlon, and professional cycling. It all started for Cam with his first passion of rowing, winning the national schoolboy Sculling crown at the 2001 Australian rowing championships. Cam from there, progressed to the junior and then the under 23 national teams being part of the world championship winning the Lightweight Coxless Four at the 2013 World Rowing under 23 championships. 12 months later, Cam represented Australia at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games in the lightweight men's double scull but Cam's rowing career came to an end in 2006 when he shifted his focus to professional cycling.

In 2011 world cycling Pro Team Cannondale picked up Cam and Cam experienced two have the World Grand Tours who was the joyride Italia and the Vuelta a España in the Cannondale team colours. Cam also spent time racing for Team Liquid Gas and Team Lotto, both world leading teams in the professional cycling peloton at the time. Then in 2015, Cam turned his attention to Ironman Triathlon, turning pro in 2016. And going on to set the Ironman World Championship Black Horse record at Kona in 2018. Cam worked diligently on his run leg the following year to finish fifth place at the 2019 Ironman World Triathlon championships, but then in 2020 Cam was pulled back into the world professional cycling peloton when he donned the team Ineos Grenadiers colours to fill a vacant roster spot instantly impressing team Ineos Grenadiers with his performances and work ethic. Cam has since road two world tours with team Ineos Grenadiers, the Djaro and also the Volta Spania. Looking ahead cam has his eyes firmly set on the Ironman Triathlon World Championship title and given his pedigree we must all watch this space.
