Kami is five days into recovery from a balloon sinuplasty and turbinate reduction, and it has been brutal — she’s too congested to wear her CPAP, she can’t use her mouth guard while mouth-breathing all night, and she’s up every hour drinking water. Before any of that came up, though, she showed off three new waist-length hair extension colors, Foxy, Aurora, and Paprika, from Wildcrafted Beauty.

Eva turns Kami’s rough week into a bigger point from her five years surveying surgery patients: people who are prepared for both the recovery and the price end up far happier than people handed a stack of paperwork and sent home. Then she tops it with her own chaotic night — a lice outbreak that sent her and her daughters to a walk-in lice clinic, a neighbor’s warning text, and a mobile lice technician who showed up ten minutes after they got home and combed everything out by hand.

Eva also explains why nobody can tell she had a recent skin treatment: it’s the paper towel effect — you can pull dozens of sheets off a fresh roll before it looks any smaller, and subtle cosmetic work and early weight loss both hide the same way. The flip side: her lower face now looks years younger than the top half, which is making her overdue Botox and untouched forehead lines stand out more than ever.

Kami’s down six pounds on a lower GLP-1 dose and isn’t sure anyone will notice yet, which turns into a debate about Kelly Osbourne’s dramatic transformation and how far is too far. They also flag a telehealth ordering hiccup a listener caught for them (already being fixed) before teasing next episode’s guest, a designer named Lucy Darling.
