Creating a Workplace Where People Want to Be

Shane Jacob drove 800 miles round trip to his 40th class reunion at Pleasant Grove High School. On the drive home he asked why people do things like that. The answer is connection, belonging, importance, and significance.

In this episode, Shane shares what it takes to create a workplace where people want to be. A paycheck is not the only reason people come to work. When leaders listen and honor people's perspective, people stay longer, are more loyal, and try harder. Shane says it can be measured in dollars.
