21-Year-Old Has No Idea She's About To Be Arrested For Murder

Homicide detectives investigating the shooting death of Javon Jacobs quickly connected a silver Nissan Xterra found at the crime scene to 21-year-old Callie Collins, who initially claimed she had loaned the vehicle to a friend. As investigators pressed for details, Callie offered conflicting alibis, and her suspicious behavior—including deleting messages and claiming her phone had suffered water damage—prompted deeper scrutiny. Authorities soon uncovered incriminating evidence, including surveillance footage, blood inside the vehicle, and a digital trail of text messages connecting Callie directly to the victim regarding a drug transaction. Despite her father's attempts to protect her, the overwhelming evidence led police to conclude that Callie was deeply implicated in the deadly plot. Ultimately, Callie was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, leading to a 30-year prison sentence at the Denver Women's Correctional Facility.
