Welcome back to another episode of Thirtyish: a podcast for adults figuring their ish out. I hope you all enjoyed last week's episode; having the wives on was such a pleasure. In this episode, ep. 22 Picture Perfect, it's kind of like an extension to last week's episode; I'm talking to my longtime college friend, my Qween, LaToyia Carpenter (IG: @prayher_holic and FB: Toyia Toyia), an attorney, mother and a recent divorcee. If I talked about marriage and what it means to be a "wifeable woman" then I had to bring you the other side of marriage, which is the reality for some, DIVORCE. Toyia's story is one only she could tell so I was honored she wanted to give the audience an insight on her new normal. We hope this episode helps anyone who may be experiencing this chapter in life, who has thought about the grass being greener and those who want the "picture perfect" fairytale.
