Derrick's fantasy of being a 24/7 slave is surprisingly common. When Michael and Indy talk with Derrick, we learn very quickly that these sexual thoughts are more linked to his past than he thought. Derrick's Fantasy: Derrick has a strong fantasy to be "serving an alpha dominant manipulative male 24/7". He describes not caring if the Dom has a husband or wife, Derrick just wants to be "tending to his needs". He wants to "serve him and make him happy - his life easier" while he makes Derrick's life harder. The fantasy develops to the point where Derrick encourages his Dom to give him strong punishments for "doing something wrong", including "either hitting me or verbally abusing me by talking down to me to make me a better servant to [him]." The Dom punishes Derrick so that he can be "taught and made to serve better". He describes in his fantasy that "it could even be to the point of crying or pain."

The Alpha would make Derrick's life harder by "just leaving his stuff around making me clean it up without saying a word, leaving stuff dirty on purpose so he can live a life of leisure. Limited contact to the outside world, working hard during holidays and my own birthday to please him. His happiness matters only."
