Episode 137 - Police K9 Legend Dave Reaver Adlerhorst Police K9

Dave Reaver is a legend in the world of police and military K9s. He's the godfather of police K9 and shaping bot the dogs that work as police dogs as well as the handlers that deploy them. For over 50 years Adlerhorst has been a name that means police dogs.

I finally sat down with Dave for an amazing chat. No idea what we would talk about, it ended up as one of my longest podcasts.... and it could have went on much longer.

We discussed how it all began, the true genesis of the police dogs we now see. The training, the selection, the handling and more. Some awesome stories covering the real history of military and police dogs, something you won't find elsewhere.

Dave Reaver is the man who is responsible for what police dogs look like in the USA today. He has sold and trained police dogs to hundreds of police and military agencies throughout the US and beyond. This chat will cement a piece in history for these amazing dogs and this amazing man.

I'm hoping me and Dave can sit down and do this again real soon!
