What should I learn next? A ten minute method

What should I learn next? A ten minute method

What should you learn next for your career? Learn the skill that stands between you and the next role you want, and that shows up in most job postings for that role.

This episode walks through a ten minute method. Name one target role. Open five real postings. Sort every skill into three columns: on your resume, have it but your resume hides it, and do not have it yet. Rank the last column and learn the top skill for that role. The middle column is often bigger than people expect, and it is the fastest win. The episode also covers what to do when you do not know your next role, and why finished courses do not always lead to interviews.
