From Evil Dead to Hellblazer

Evil Dead Wrath director Francis Galluppi is writing a John Constantine movie for DC Studios. I break down what it could mean for Keanu Reeves and Constantine 2.

Summary

Deadline reports that DC Studios has hired Francis Galluppi to write a John Constantine movie, which is in very early development. Galluppi is best known for The Last Stop in Yuma County, the 2023 movie that led Sam Raimi to put him in charge of Evil Dead Wrath. Bleeding Cool and The Playlist treat this as separate from Constantine 2 with Keanu Reeves, and it's still unknown whether the new movie lands in the DCU or Elseworlds.
