PAUSE… So, relax and find a space inside where you’re completely comfortable. PAUSE… Now, imagine standing at the window watching a group of children on a playground. PAUSE… As your eyes scan the playground, you see two girls swinging. Their long, golden locks catch a breeze and fly up as they swing higher and higher. PAUSE… As you watch the girls, you hear their giggles and shouts of delight. A smile finds its way on your face. PAUSE… Moments later, you notice two boys playing catch. They each toss the ball and raise their gloves without missing, all while smiling. PAUSE… As you continue to scan the playground, you see a group of girls and boys playing Four-Square and laughing. PAUSE… The two girls jump off the swings and begin skipping across the playground to the jungle gym, hand in hand, smiling. Then, they lean over and whisper to each other, laughing more. PAUSE… As you watch the children, you feel a vibrant energy bouncing inside you, an energy with such wonderful force that you wish you could join the children. PAUSE… So, you draw in a deep breath and imagine yourself on the playground, sharing secrets with the girls, then climbing the jungle gym. PAUSE… You hop off the jungle gym and run to play Four Square, laughing every time you make a move with the ball. Before you know it, the whistle blows, and the children run to their teacher while you are magically transported back home. PAUSE… Now, back at home, you feel a new spark, a youthful energy impacting mind, body and spirit. The child within you has awakened. PAUSE… And as you go through the day, the joy of the child’s world colors all you see and do, filling you with light, love and laughter.
