Ben Clymer Presents: Ep 01 – The Collaboration Episode With Jean Arnault and Rexhep Rexhepi

Welcome to the first episode of a brand new limited podcast series from Hodinkee called Ben Clymer Presents. Hosted by Hodinkee's own founder, Ben Clymer Presents offers a special chat between Ben and special experts from the world of watches and, sometimes, elsewhere. It's a limited series that will run weekly for the next ten weeks, with new episodes every Wednesday in both video and audio. Want the video? Swing by Hodinkee's YouTube channel (or watch below). Just want the audio? It's being published to the same podcast feed as Hodinkee Radio, so check your feeds or subscribe wherever you find your podcasts (might we recommend Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, or TuneIn).

// Episode 1

For episode 1, Ben is joined by two special guests – Jean Arnault and Rexhep Rexhepi – on the launch of a very special collaboration between their brands, Louis Vuitton and Akrivia. The watch is called the LVRR-01 Chronographe à Sonnerie, and Ben chats with both about how they came to work together, what this new watch means for each brand (and for independent watchmaking) as well as how this collaboration marks a pivotal point in the future of Akrivia, and LV's plans to continue with four more limited edition collaborations. It's a rare treat to have two guests from very different sides of the watchmaking universe, and both offer a unique perspective on their latest collaboration and more – we hope you love it.
