Encore: Taking Care of Our Gut Health

On Today's episode, I get to interview Dr. Christina Tennyson about the importance of our gut health and how our gut is tied to our brain and emotions. A lot of people who experience anxiety have gastrointestinal problems. Christina shares how gut directed hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are proven to support people working with gastrointestinal problems (you can find a practitioner here). She also shares how certain foods help repopulate and diversify the microbiome in the gut and decrease inflammation in the body. Not getting enough sleep or not managing stress has a big impact on our gut health. Christina also shares some important tips on how to gain more confidence in the kitchen. Take a listen to the whole episode and share your takeaways with us on Instagram @OneWade and @lifestylegastromd
