Paedophile’s ask why we only get involved once they’ve offended. They’re asking why nobody answers their calls for help before it happens, why no therapist, no counsellor will work with them, leaving them to their own devices where offending becomes much more likely. How are you feeling as you read this? Child abuse is one of the most horrific crimes that can be committed, and the people who are tasked with investigating and prosecuting it face enormous challenges and risks. In this episode of the Jeremy Indika Podcast, Jeremy speaks with Mike Brewer, who is a retired detective sergeant and who has had experience dealing with child abuse cases, especially those involving paedophiles.
