Celebrating 3 years Alcohol Free

Celebrating 3 years Alcohol Free

In this special episode I reflect on my 3 years of sobriety and thought I would share some of what got me here and what keeps me here.

My last drink was January 1, 2020. (After many, many, many, starts and stops and many day ones.) The misery of those first days has faded. I share that to let you know if you're trying to change your drinking that it does get better. It really does. You really can do this, and you won't feel so terrible. You won't feel stuck in that shame spiral. You will get out of it. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

This darkness is not a dead end. It's a hallway, keep going.

I'm sharing some of my journey and hopefully it will help you too.
