Helen Davies Parsons is the CEO of Dormy Care and operates 4 care homes in both England and Wales. She is a qualified nurse and regularly still works on the floor in her care homes. She qualified in the NHS before leaving the profession but ultimately returned to follow her passion.

In this episode she talks about the role of the nurse in social care and some of the stigma still attached. We discuss the need or not for nurses in social care and the reality of there being less nurses now and in the future and the impact to care. She also gives valuable advice to new and aspiring managers across care.
