Being a victim of physical abuse by her father, its rare for an Asian woman to even report this kind of situation to the police. As an Asian woman, we have been told all our life to always obey our parents and respect our elders. Abuse is common in Asian countries but rarely talked about and Tracy had the courage to get out of her situation to be able to live the life she has today.
