Emma Abrahamson on Running For Oregon, Youtube Running Culture, Body Image Myths

Former Oregon distance runner Emma Abrahamson joins The CITIUS MAG Podcast fresh off accepting a job with Doyle Management Group, which oversees a bunch of elite athletes. Emma has done a great job of building a following for herself with a foodie Instagram account (@onecrazedfoodie) and then her own YouTube channel. She's very funny. We chat about how she got into running, the decision to stop competing at the NCAA level, building a brand and much more. We discuss Logan and Jake Paul for a hot second. There's a shout-out to Spencer Brown of The Athlete Special YouTube channel, who she considers one of the OGs of running vlogging. Other topics include dispelling some of the myths of eating and running that sometimes people can fall into a trap with. Emma has some great advice. We run through most of the listener questions that were submitted on Instagram. You can catch the latest episode of the podcast on iTunes so subscribe and leave a five-star review. We are also now on Stitcher and now Google Play! --------- This episode was brought to you by Maurten. Fuel properly for long distance races! we recommend Maurten.
