Ep #17 - Creating A Warrior Mindset: Lessons from UFC with coach Daria Albers

Learn from one of the best in the business. Daria Albers works with some of the best fighting athletes in the entire world, helping them cultivate what she describes as a 'Warrior Mindset'. I'm lucky enough to be able to call Daria a friend and I've learned so much from her great experience and wisdom, so I'm delighted that you get to learn from her too in this podcast episode.

As I write this I'm less than 2 days from the start of a #Snowdon24 challenge which requires 'Everesting' mount snowdon by doing 9 reps... and I'm sacred to be brutally honest. Was was previously excited by now the mind is starting to play some tricks on me. I know its part of the process, I know what training I've done and I know with some of the 'tools' Daria has taught me over the years I'll give a best account of myself.

Will my 'best' be good enough?

Will the body hold up?

I don't know... but I also don't know what my 'best' is yet!

I know that we are all far more capable than we can imagine and that a challenge gives us the opportunity to express what we actually can achieve.
