This episode occurred in June 2014. I do not believe my Brother realized how bad his symptoms were. With my Dad's near death, the break up of his ex-girlfriend, and his decaying mind, he would poop on floors, punch holes in the wall, starve himself, isolate himself in the basement, would fail to meet any hygiene/basic-care needs, and unable to get up and move (catatonia). He lost a lot of weight. My family decided to put him in the hospital when he would experienced a psychotic break by yelling at ghosts, unable to control his body movements, and severe delusions in August. He was put in the hospital again in October for suicidal idealizations. He is slowly recovering.
