Riding The Airwaves | Pastor Lenny Ep. 63

Riding The Airwaves | Pastor Lenny Ep. 63

"Life is like a river. You just have to go with the flow and not let the pesky rocks in the water get in your way."

Meg Bowling

Sometimes it's not so much about where you're going in life. It's about what you plan on taking with you.

If you're a reader, watcher or listener of the podcast, chances are you're a growth-minded person. You have goals and ambitions and probably a number of plans you expect to do once you get there.

But what if you don't like where you end up? What if the unexpected happens and you're forced to take a step back due to circumstances out of your control?

For many, these unfortunate occurrences can really take a hit to one's ego. That hit can be especially bruising for someone who is young.

My guest today, Pastor Lenny Gaines knows all about that hit. Having begun a career in radio at a young age, Pastor Lenny enjoyed success early in life. Though that success did not come easy, the doors that opened as a result of it can quickly become overwhelming.

As Pastor Lenny shares in this episode, success at a young age that is not guided or managed is not a formula of longevity. After a number of opportunities, setbacks and a brief time in the world of education, Pastor Lenny finds himself back where he started in Radio.

And if you were to ask him yourself, He'd probably tell you he's right where he belongs.

Take a listen as Pastor Lenny shares his rollercoaster of a story and gives us some insightful reflection on the lessons he has learned. If you're looking for growth and don't know if you're on the right path. Let Pastor Lenny's story motivate you to trust the process.

You just need to keep riding the wave!
