Founded by his grandfather, Silvio Carta, in the 1950s in Baratili San Pietro, Sardinia, the company initially focused on Vernaccia di Oristano, an amber gold wine that quickly captivated palates. Under the leadership of Silvio and later his son Elio, the company expanded its range to include Mirto ‘riserva’, London Dry Gin, Vermouth, Whisky, and other traditional spirits, all celebrated for their exceptional quality. Today, Nino works alongside his family, carrying on the traditions with a blend of innovation and respect for the past. He actively participates in the production process, particularly in distillation, and is involved in international fairs, hosting tastings, and collaborating globally to promote Sardinian oenology and distillation. Nino is committed to sustainability, ensuring the preservation of Sardinia’s natural beauty in all operations.
