Richard Berthelsen spent 40 years with the NFLPA, fighting for player rights. Perhaps the biggest win for the NFLPA was free agency, allowing players to choose where they want to play instead of the owners having basically all of the power. He shares how he fell into the job working with Ed Garvey, one of the biggest influencers to the players at the beginning. Richard's journey for 40 years gave him perspective, as he was often leading the charge helping set up the strikes and in the courtrooms.
