​​Hello Untanglers, this week we have a guest whom I have admired from afar for a long time, the remarkable Hana Walker-Brown, a multi-award-winning documentary audio documentary and podcast creator, composer and author, who joined me to untangle the complexities of ADHD and the raw power of storytelling.

This episode deep dives into the struggles and strengths of living as what I like to call a ‘Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ ADHDer. Hana openly and wholeheartedly shares the story of her recent struggle with burnout, a turning point in her life that transformed her relationship with work and identity.

Throughout this episode, Hana and I share the intimate struggles of living with that strong desire and need to achieve that is often embodied by many individuals with ADHD and how embracing our neurodiversity is not just about managing symptoms but unlocking our true creative potential.

We discuss how peeling away the layers of our professional selves can support us in uncovering the core of our being, revealing that sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is retreat and recharge. We cover addictive behaviours celebrated by society, self-worth, and the art of storytelling whilst celebrating the strength that comes from authenticity and the importance of community.
