Despite being given a golden opportunity to gain some traction in the wild card standings, the New Jersey Devils blew their chance against the Buffalo Sabres. Tage Thompson had four goals and the Devils made some careless mistakes. I wanted to believe in them, but the only consistent thing about this team is their inconsistency.
