Ep 222: What Makes Me Matter

Ep 222: What Makes Me Matter

Start Your Transformation Now I go a few different directions in this episode. I talk about “Doing the work” in life and tie that into “What Makes Me Matter.” When we come to what makes us matter, we metaphorically set ourselves on fire, and life becomes amazing. Most of us fall short when it comes to doing the work and things that need to be done in life because nothing has set us on fire to do what is necessary to create the outcomes we desire. When I had my stroke after heart failure, it was a lot of “work” healing and getting back to great health, and I do mean a lot of work! But, I did all the work necessary because I know that I matter in life. What I do professionally matters, I matter, my life matters – I am a person who matters. Read on, I’ll explain. One of the obstacles to doing the work in life is that we hit resistance and we stop and this is exactly when we should push through and persevere. Resistance keeps us from everything we want in life! Resistance comes in the form of fears, overly analytical rationalizations and the environment we live in. And, until we cut through all this head garbage we’re not going to bust through resistance, and when we don’t do that, we almost never do the great things in our life that bring us the greatest joy. This episode is all about what matter you matter in life and a simple way to discover that. It’s the approach that I take and live from. Transformational Takeaway: It’s vital that we come into the knowing of “why we are here,” and when we do that, what makes us matter becomes clear. And then…life becomes extraordinary! Ep 71: You Can Uplevel The BE-DO-HAVE Model Using Identity Transformation

Ep 71: You Can Uplevel The BE-DO-HAVE Model Using Identity Transformation

Start Your Transformation Now Have you ever wondered why you try and try and try to change but nothing changes? If so, you’re not alone and it’s not your fault, it’s your brain keeping you trapped in your old subconscious identity. In this episode, I delve into the BE-DO-HAVE model of performance which you’ve probably heard me talk about over and over and I talk about why some people still fail with it. I share with you how to up-level and make the BE-DO-HAVE strategy of performance work for you! In this episode I talk about: [1:43] How your current subconscious identity keeps you trapped [7:48] How your reptilian brain does not want you to change [12:22] How predictability keeps you trapped [13:48] Why anxiety sets in when you’re trying to change [18:43] How “Resistance” is not your friend [20:33] Why there is no time but NOW to work from [23:12] And, how your brain tries to protect you but keeps you trapped If you’ve ever wondered, “WHY, why do I want to change so badly but I keep finding myself right back in my old patterns” then this episode is for you. In this episode, I dig into brain-based function as well as the psychological aspects of change and transformation. Transformational Takeaway: What is the subconscious identity of the person seeking transformation? Ep 70: Q & A - I Have A Good Life And Good Husband But I’m Not Happy In My Marriage, What Do I Do?

Ep 70: Q & A - I Have A Good Life And Good Husband But I’m Not Happy In My Marriage, What Do I Do?

Start Your Transformation Now This is a HUGE situation for millions of people: OK marriage but something is missing, stale, just not working – it’s just not fulfilling. In this episode, I go several places with it, specifically and as asked, I talk briefly about “twin flames” and then I talk about what I see people doing that destroys relationships. I talk about: [7:07] Lack of self-awareness [8:23] Buying each other’s “rackets” [22:15] Lack of luster communication skills [23:09] Fears of communicating and asking [24:35] “Conditioning” each other out of the relationship [30:37] And, how different processing styles divide relationships What’s interesting to me is that millions of people get married each year all around the world and where culturally permissible, millions of divorces and separations also happen each year. Specifically, and as I address in this episode, there is a massive lack of self-awareness and emotional maturity in the world and this contributes to over a 50% divorce rate in many countries in the world. No matter your relationship status I think just about every listener will find value in this episode. Transformational Takeaway: No one person can be everything to you. Ep 69: This Is Your Greatest Cause of Suffering

Ep 69: This Is Your Greatest Cause of Suffering

Start Your Transformation Now How many things, ideas, people and emotions have you “attached” to yourself? How many of these things have brought you anguish and despair? Buddha once said, “The cause of suffering is attachment” and that’s obviously what I’m talking about in this episode. I see people angry for years over their past circumstances, past relationships, lost dreams, lost physical property and the list goes on. All of this is attachment. In this episode I talk about: [4:41] What things you have attached to that have caused you pain [5:40] My own battles with attachment [7:05] How expectations are a form of attachment [14:19] Why political beliefs are attachment [16:12] How most people don’t ask for truth in life [18:13] Why beliefs are archaic [23:58] The poison of negative emotional attachments [28:28] How attachment blocks life realizations And, like I say in every podcast description, much more. Working with a shaman for many years, letting go of attachment has been one of the biggest lessons in the forefront of my life. It can be a challenge and also very liberating. As we all know, it’s so easy to attach to things, people and ideas around us, and in the end, many of these things come to be our suffering. I enjoyed doing this episode and hopefully you can see yourself in many of the examples I used. Transformational Takeaway: Attachment is suffering. Ep 68: Q & A - How Do I Manage My Anger?

Ep 68: Q & A - How Do I Manage My Anger?

Start Your Transformation Now This is a powerful question I got this week and one I’m sure a majority of people are working through. Anger is so destructive and it destroys so many lives and relationships and yet it runs through so many lives. Anger is poison. (I know because it also used to be very prevalent in my life.) In this episode I talk about: [2:19] What anger is [3:00] Stress and anger [4:17] Why people get into anger [5:08] Anger triggers [15:24] How to defuse anger in others [22:55] How you learned anger [31:32] How to eliminate anger And, some practical applications to alleviate or stop anger. In my opinion, this is a vital episode for most people because anger is destructive, it causes health issues and it divides relationships. And, for most people, it’s controlling. No matter your level of anger and how it influences you I’m sure you’ll find value in this episode. Transformational Takeaway: If there is no anger in you, you cannot be angry. Ep 67: There Is No Such Thing As Mind-Boggling.

Ep 67: There Is No Such Thing As Mind-Boggling.

Start Your Transformation Now We’ve all heard it before, “Wow, that blows my mind, it’s mind boggling.” The truth is this, anything mind boggling is something that simply exists outside your personal model of reality. We humans work from tiny models of reality and most of us stay trapped in our small models of the world. St. Germain said, “If humans knew how the laws of the universe worked they’d cease to believe in miracles.” When we learn to think outside our models of reality, life opens up for us. In this episode I talk about: [9:13] The importance of stopping internal dialog [9:45] Why “100% Possible – 100% Of The Time” is liberating [10:50] How your entire world is a 3D interpretation [13:00] How you give up your true power when you’re born [15:25] Why when you “stop thinking” you become pure possibility [25:05] Why working from evidence is a trap And, as you know, I tend to cover a lot of ancillary ideas in each episode. If you’re wanting to stop working from circumstances you’re probably going to really like this episode. Transformational Takeaway: Above all else, remember this: 100% Possible 100% Of The Time Mentioned Resources: The I Am Discourses by St. Germain Episode 6 – Here’s The Only Place To Find Your Highest Potential Disclosure: Some of the links above are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you make a purchase. Ep 66: Q & A – When You Have EXTREMELY Large Goals Should You Start By Focusing On Smaller Goals?

Ep 66: Q & A – When You Have EXTREMELY Large Goals Should You Start By Focusing On Smaller Goals?

Start Your Transformation Now Goals, for most of your life you’ve heard people talking about goals and why you should set them. In this Q&A episode I talk about goals from a few different perspectives and I talk about why I don’t personally set them. Yes, you read that right, I don’t set goals. In this episode I talk about: [6:56] Working by a “12 week year” [10:38] Why it’s important to break down goals into quarters [11:32] Why tracking is so important if you set goals [12:15] How “processing styles” can sabotage your goals [14:29] The role of habits in your goal achievement [15:23] How subconscious identity plays into your goals [26:40] Why goal setting can be detrimental, research proven [29:33] And, finally, why I personally do not set goals I really enjoyed creating this episode. This is such an overrated topic, in my opinion, and it’s one that that has been drilled into our heads since we were kids. So, I go a few different directions in this episode. If you want to set goals I talk about breaking them down. If you don’t want to set goals or you want a more healthy approach I talk about some Harvard research and my personal approach. I had fun with this episode, I hope you enjoy it. Transformational Takeaway: Break goals into 12 weeks and trackable results. Know your brain based processing style so you can apply it to your goals. And, finally, counter intuitive I know, but don’t set goals when you work from BEing the goal first in your mind. Mentioned Resources: 12 Week Year –Brian P. Ep 65: The Biology Of Success

Ep 65: The Biology Of Success

Start Your Transformation Now Most people think success in life is mental, and it’s not just that …it's biological or rather, neurological. Honestly, I’ve already created an episode on habits (neurological), however, I wanted to put a spin on it in this episode. Being 100% upfront, I’m passing through a nasty cold and hosting a house full of people for family vacation – 8 adults, 2 toddlers and 4 dogs, so my attention span is shot. However, I do talk a bit about habits in this episode and I make a recommendation about how to reprogram your habits.      You don’t get what you want in life, you get your habits and it’s VITAL that you learn to reprogram your subconscious mind and your habits. I direct you in this episode on how you can do that. Ep 64: Q & A - How To Stop Negative Thoughts That Happen Throughout My Day

Ep 64: Q & A - How To Stop Negative Thoughts That Happen Throughout My Day

Start Your Transformation Now Do you go through life never feeling good enough or feeling like you’re always doing something wrong or not doing it “right?” If so, this episode is for you. As you’ll hear in this episode and I’ve said 1000 times before, the only time you’re not good enough is when you’re comparing yourself to someone or something. STOP IT! And, about “doing something wrong,” I used to feel that way when I was much younger, and I talk about it in this episode and how to eliminate that feeling. In this episode I talk about: [4:16] There is NO such thing as “right or wrong.” This is a huge leap for most [4:54] The negative consequences of polar “right / wrong” thinking [9:03] Why there is no such thing as mistakes [10:02] The cause of “good enough” thinking [12:19] How understanding simple karma sets you free from comparison [15:35] Why it’s vital to accept yourself as you are [22:12] The only way for you to ever be good enough And, as I say in every write-up… much much more. Comparison and low self-worth are poisons and they keep most of us trapped for a lifetime! Letting go of these poisons is a really simple matter and it’s my intention in this episode to give you the thought paradigms to free yourself from your self imposed traps of thinking. Transformational Takeaway: When you compare, you put yourself in the poisonous trap of not being good enough. Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE?
