Interview with the author of 'Made in Argentina, Mastered in Madrid', Ashwin Ballal

In this episode of the TGU podcast Frank sits down for a chat with Ashwin Ballal who has authored the book on Diego Simeone, 'Made in Argentina, Mastered in Madrid' out now via Pitch Publishing.

Frank and Ashwin discuss Simeone's playing career including his early days at Pisa, his subsequent move to Spain with Atlético Madrid and time in Italy with Inter Milan and Lazio.

Ashwin talks about the beginnings of Simeone's management career with Catania, the influence Italy has had on his managerial traits and characteristics, and the evolution of the Argentinean's management style on and off the field.
