Entering My Triathlon Era with Kelly Ransier

At TBL, we are all about the first-time finish line! And this week, we talk with beginner Kelly Ransier, who is ready to share her remarkable journey from being a novice in running and cycling to becoming a successful triathlete. Her story comes from Charleston, where she first stepped into the world of triathlons with her aunt by her side.

Community has been vital for Kelly, who found the Power Zone Pack Peloton Group to guide her cycling during the pandemic. This crew was a driving force and helped her achieve her goals. Today, Kelly calls on her tri crew, the Mid Maryland Triathlon Team. Here, she finds the support she needs in their new triathlete program.

Kelly’s goal for this year is to conquer an Olympic distance, but she will first participate in her second sprint triathlon. She has encouraged her husband to join in his first triathlon, too. We know the couple that tris together gets it done together! Kelly is determined to win, and we are excited to see her continue to Tri.
