After attending the appeals court hearing on his "presidential immunity" nonsense, Trump said if the prosecution of him continued "It'll be bedlam in the country."

But he hasn't engaged in insurrection.

Meanwhile his attorney, Judge Luttig's former law clerk, insisted that no, if he hadn't been impeached and removed from office, Trump could not be prosecuted for ordering Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival.

But he's not saying HE would CAUSE the bedlam.

Besides the background drumbeat of Trumpist political violence, the point of the "presidential immunity" action is to stall.
