E78. Why is There So Much Secrecy Around The First Trimester with Carly Rowena

The first trimester is arguably the most physically and psychologically challenging trimester in pregnancy yet it is shrouded in secrecy leaving women feeling alone and isolated in their anxiety and symptoms. Worst of all, it means that women are left dealing with the grief of miscarriage behind closed doors. This week we are talking about a topic I am super passionate about- why is it we are so secretive about the first trimester and is this right? From discussing taboo subjects on her You Tube channel, to inspiring us with her workouts, supporting us to protect our minds and bodies with her retreats and moodment app and creating the most wonderful body positivity book for children ‘My Beautiful Body’ Carly Rowena @carlyrowena is an inspirational mum, keeping things real and supporting other women on her mission. Please note we discuss miscarriage and pregnancy loss on this episode which may be triggering for you.
