We have all heard the term ‘hands on dad’ or ‘modern father’ and we are thankfully existing in a world where dads are being encouraged more and more to be involved in the whole journey through pregnancy and parenthood. What I see so often as a midwife is a lack of confidence amongst new and expectant and understanding about how they can practically and emotionally be involved and supportive in the family dynamic holding dads back from reaching their fatherhood goals This week I am joined by Nigel Clarke @nigelclarketv, dad of 3, British TV presenter recognised by many little people from Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, CBBC and currently on CBeebies The Baby Club, founder of Dadvengers @dadvengersofficial and a man on a mission to bridge this gap and ensure dads, their needs and roles are brought to the forefront of the conversation.
