On the night that Jacques Lemaire was inducted into the Ring of Honor, the New Jersey Devils dismantled the Boston Bruins 5-1. It was the first time since March 28th, 2021 that the Devils defeated the Bruins in regulation. Dawson Mercer had a big showing and scored two goals. Jacob Markstrom unfortunately exited the game early due to injury. But Jake Allen was strong coming in relief. The Devils' power play also came alive in this game.
