The New Jersey Devils finally beat a team in a shootout. It them took seven rounds, but they defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2. Timo Meier and Dougie Hamilton were clutch in the shootout. Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt's peanut butter and jelly dynamic was clicking. Unfortunately, Jonas Siegenthaler got injured in the first period and will miss time.
