42: Accidental Bravery with Melanie Marshall

For over 20 years, as a BBC foreign journalist, Melanie Marshall explored fascinating and often high-risk places around the globe. Whether in the Middle East, Ukraine, Afghanistan, or China, she's known for her ability to craft uniquely human and accessible narratives that build understanding and evoke change.

Her work has earned international acclaim including multiple Emmy nominations. She has connected with people from across the spectrum of human experience—often witnessing the hardest days of their lives.
Despite this, she's optimistic about the future. The 'accidental bravery' of the people I've met is a light to guide us – essential in tough times. Melanie loves helping people connect to that light— tapping into their own bravery as they navigate the (often scary) unknown.
