VGK allows four, third period goals in 5-2 loss to the Kings

At least Eichel, Stone and Hanifin had an excuse coming off the 4 Nations. What about the rest of the VGK team? The Golden Knights fell apart in the third period of last night's game, giving up four straight Kings goals enroute to a 5-2 loss. Bruce Cassidy afterward said VGK lost every puck battle and called the loss "inexcusable." The Kings meanwhile continued to roll, now 19-3-2 on home ice. Brayden McNabb and Mark Stone scored the goals for VGK. The Golden Knights led 2-1 through two periods before the third period meltdown.
